When an application calls for a barrier gate, LiftMaster's BG790 has the reliability and features you require for a commercial installation. The BG790 can be utilized in a high traffic area or integrated with another style gate to create a trap, preventing additional cars from entering a specified area prior to the previous car leaving.
The BG790 is provided by LiftMaster® with a 24-foot wishbone-style arm. Whether the operator is used individually or when utilizing the optional master/slave feature, the BG790 will cover the majority of installations from 24 to 48 feet wide. For smaller entranceways, please see our BG770 Barrier Gate Operator that supports a 12-foot standard arm.
LiftMaster's parking gates are designed for long life and durability. The weatherproof cabinet is composed of heavy-duty 11-gauge pre-galvanized steel and is baked with a powder coat finish. A continuous duty 1/2 hp industrial motor, with overload protection, is standard to withstand heavy usage and promote low maintenance.

The DKS model 1603 Barrier Gate Operator / Automated Spike System is designed as a modular system allowing for easy flexibility in different applications and easy installation. The 1603 operator is designed with many advanced features and mechanically links the spikes to the barrier arm. The surface mount spikes are easy to install and do not require any trenching or excavating. The 1603 auto-spike system is ideal for parking lots, rental car agencies, schools, car dealerships, government agencies, or in any application where a higher degree of traffic control is preferred.
A complete 1603 / auto-spike system consist of several different components. A typical system will require a 1603 operator, transfer box (transfer box is factory installed to the 1603 operator), tunnel section(s) as needed, spike section(s) as needed, end cap. A traffic signal and/or warning sign is required with this system.

Warning signs and traffic signals are used with traffic control spikes and auto-spikes to inform drivers that a one way lane condition exist and that proceeding in the wrong direction, or before the spikes are fully retracted, will result in severe tire damage. Traffic control spikes are ideal for controlling traffic direction and speed through a controlled entry location. Traffic spikes prevent vehicles from proceeding through a traffic lane in the wrong direction by enforcing one-way traffic lanes. Speed bumps force drivers to slow down while driving through the controlled entry point. They are also ideal for keeping vehicular traffic at a safe speed while driving over traffic spikes.
